Filigree

I composed this view to show both the contrast and the connection between nature's embellished creations and man's. The porch is on a historic building in a city where the front garden has spilled onto the sidewalk. I've actually done a series of this subject. The process of painting grassy, repetitive strokes appeals to me. Studio painting based on plein air
