My last plein air painting before the Xmas holidays. Went out on freezing cold day ( By English Standards, about 4 degrees:-) )
Wanted to catch the feel of the winter and cold and the partially frozen river. I Was enticed by the natural S shape and thought it would make a dramatic composition.
