'Looking Forward to Summer' speaks to the yearning in human nature for the anticipation of good things to come. This yearning varies greatly amongst us all. The young girls clothed with their coats during the winter look off to the beach and ocean and contemplate the simple joys of youth. This piece also speaks to the beauty of being young. Where the girls minds are geared towards play time. When summer comes, they may enjoy such things as playing in the sand and splashing in the water.
